Had this on a TAFE machine. As far as I see it, it's a rouge program. Probably won't detect anything.

I would agree with McLovin on this one.Whoever uses WOT or similar click the link that in itself should be enough.I would advise to stay away from it.

The company website is http://www.is3.com/ .

They still advertise their rogue products on television like MaxPC Registry Cleaner, SmartSupport, LifeLock and Carbonite.

The company is still in the scamming business, avoid their products and services.

Thanks.:D

I remember that many years ago, I have tried this program and it detected some malicious files (which I doubt they were really malware), however when I tried to remove them,it asked me to buy the full version.Don't know if that has changed but that was the story a few years ago.

What’s included in the trial?
What is included…
Your STOPzilla AVM 2013 trial version includes our powerful true real-time protection, which detects and quarantines any active threats so they can no longer damage your computer, but to completely remove them from your machine and remain protected from new threats, you’ll need to register your product.

Stopzilla, they will continuously remain as a scam and PUP products. Unfortunately people were fall on classic tactics.

They added for Android for another so easy money too.

I seriously doubt that STOPzilla detected actual malware that others missed. It probably just detected a bunch of false positives. Do extra research on anything that STOPzilla detects upload all detected samples to VirusTotal or another online multi-engine scanner. The product is known to produce many false positives to increase sales that is why most users consider it to be a scam.

Thanks.:D
