i am using avira firewall and uac turned off because it really annoys.

Then try Norton DNS or Comodo DNS. Or use Panda cloud filtering.

For that you would be able to get away with MSE as long as you don't mind prolonged scan times but since you should hardly be infected, then the removal process speed is irrelevant.

No real important things on laptop and no online transaction work on this machine so happy with non av now
