I have Kaspersky premium subscription (1 device 2 years) for two years with around 100 days of subscription left. I purchased it directly from Kaspersky india website and I have not set it to automatically renew as it is too costly. If I purchase a premium key for 3 years (1 device 3 years) from Amazon and add it to my existing premium app, will I lose the existing 100 days ? Or i just get the 3 year?

When you add a new license, it doesn't overwrite the existing one. Your 3-year subscription will start only after your current subscription of 100 days ends. So, you won't lose the remaining days.

It will add the license to your kaspersky account but it wont start using that license until you decide to start using that license

so you wont lose license you have 100 days on.

But i guess you manually have to start using that 3 years license before it activates, like swap to that 3 years license when you have few days previous license left

of course @harlan4096 can correct if im wrong

ps. im using kaspersky too, and was wondering if i could combine two licenses, but i guess you have choose manually wich license you want to use, so use previous license before activate new license, thats what im planning to do.

IIRC Kaspersky has different license activation rules dependent upon from whom the license was purchased, the type of license, and the region of the world in which the license was purchased (because the license activation is guided by local laws or rules).

One can always submit a request to Kaspersky Support to "merge" licenses. They can only say "Yes" or "No" while providing further instructions if it is "No."

If you buy the license directly from Kaspersky it will be activated immediately. If you buy from third parties, it may be activated or not, it really depends on the kind of license, and you should ask the vendor before buying.

If your Amazon purchase is from different region of your residence, Kaspersky activation could fail. Please be sure your purchase is in same region (India in this case).

@Brahman, Did you get Kaspersky Premium, and does it include a Safe Kids license?
Yes, but just for a year for a two year subscription. In India, they have now removed the free unlimited vpn from K premium.

Yes, KPrem. includes Safe Kids.
Is Safe Kids part of Kaspersky Premium as it was in the old version, Kaspersky Total, or has Safe Kids become a separate app with a temporary introductory deal?

In India, they have now removed the free unlimited vpn from K premium.
The Indian government's requirements for VPN companies could be the reason. Other vendors use virtual servers to circumvent data provision.

I have KPremium licenses, but I never used Safe Kids, as I don't need it, but once You add the activation code to My Kaspersky, an independent entry for Safe Kids is created, and yes still You can install it or not, but it is included in the KPremium licenses I have:

This capture is from a license expiring soon, Safe Kids gets it own independt activation code. it is active, but I never used it.

I meant I require Safe Kids, but the standard license I have doesn't include it. Is the interface the same for all versions with unavailable features grayed out?

Not grayed out, just not there, the module (feature) options. At least that was the case in my previous experience with Standard and Plus.
