How long does it take for SUMo to recognize a new version of software is out there ?

It's pretty quick, usually faster than the program itself, some really dislike Sumo but in my opinion its the best software updater there is. From time to time it picks a Beta up as final but not often & it's easy to let them know. It's not for everyone but is for me

I take a look at virustotal, and seems that in the last month a big number of versions of SUMo not authorized by the developer were highly flagged as malicious trojan horse; such versions are unofficial portables versions of SUMo, if I am right the only official version is offered by his site or portableapps.com

I feeled to report because one of those is flagged 40/70, and is not surely a good thing to see
