Even bad boys, like Anonymous, do good deeds some times.
I reckon this is one of those times. :+1:

I know this only amounts to a punch in the face but is a punch
in the face of a repressive government that, hopefully, is dying.

It's hard not to say +1 to Anon when they've hacked something bellowing to the bad guys .... But this hack has no real value and won't really help anyone...
If they are skilled hackers they should try hacking the military communication system or something like that. ..now that's a challenge.

useless, just to say "we are not so bad..." and trying to legitimate their actions.

To be able to achieve something like that, all they need is a little help
....from a friend, a friend that in other circumstances would not be
their friend. Working relationships like that one, do happen in real life,
more than we can imagine. It happens every day.

Syrian Hackers Retaliate by Defacing Anon Plus Website

In response to Anonymous defacing the Syrian Ministry of Defence website late last week, a group of hackers broke into Anon Plus and left a message on its home page.

Anonymous hacktivists hijacked mod.gov.sy over the weekend to leave an encouragement message for Syrian pro-democracy protesters and call on the country's Army to stop its crackdown against the uprising.

A group of Syrian pro-government hackers responded yesterday by hacking into AnonPlus.com, the hacktivist group's alleged social networking project.

"In response to your hacking to the website of Syrian Ministry of Defence, the Syrian people have decided to purify the Internet of our [sic.] pathetic website.

"Your website has been hacked, and he we leave you these photos showing the scale of terrorism committed by Muslim Bortherhood Organization, whose members have been killing Syrian citizens - civilians and military.

"You are defending this terrorits [sic.] organization and this is our response.. here is photos of the Syrian Army Martyrs," the message left by the hackers reads. The defaced page also contained violent photos.

i will be impressed by those "tool-user" hackers when they will take control of a bank network, gov military network, power plants and other strategic place, not useless websites.

Power plants?, for taking down power plants, the cost is immense and
collaboration between governments is needed in the conspiracy and
the coverup that follows. Amateurs like this bad boys, don't have the
necessary resources, relationships and expertise needed for that.

Read about Stuxnet and the Iranian Nuclear plants and you'll see how
a Nuclear plant can be affected by viruses(benign) and hackers.
