I hope this is the right place to post this...I just thought this site was too cool not to share...

If you’ve used PCs for years or haven’t used some of the older versions of Windows, you might appreciate The Restart Page—a site that displays the restart sequence for many of the older operating systems including Windows 1.1, 2000, XP, NeXT, and Apple operating systems.

Cool thing, Windows 95,98,2000 and XP were only the OS I saw since birth. And for me XP was the best among the generations.

XP has to be the one that looks like it has just been released compared to the others.

Of those, the Amiga is probably the first one i remember. Played the original Prince of Persia on that thing. :)
The first system i remember was ms-dos based.

Suddenly i feel very old :)
