Here’s what else The Web Blocker will do for you:

Block any website on the internet on a per-user basis.
Content Filtering (internet filter) blocks millions of websites with one click of the mouse. This makes it easy to block adult content (block Adult Websites)
Use preloaded block lists including gambling, social networking and game-playing sites.
Monitor internet history on a per-user basis.
All new White List allows users to pass specific sites through the filter

WOT gives it an Unsatisfactory rating for Trustworthiness (yes, I know...). What is your experience with it?

I'd be interested to see how it is implemented. I think it might be a nice alternative to K9 but depending on how it functions and what services it loads and the resources needed it may be worse, lets hope it is better. I also noticed the WOT rating.

Just try it out before I installed KIS. Works great. K9's downfall is that its not user based. K9 effects all users. The Web Blocker is only user based. I Googled "free porn" and it was a blocked search. I tried to get into know porn sites. Blocked. Works for me.

WOT is a joke and always has been. One person on WOT has rated it. ONE.

Thanks for the info, this def makes me prefer it over K9, as for WOT I added it long ago and yes I did notice that only one rating has been made for the site. I think K9 has a somewhat better looking site but from you have stated their program isn't as nice...can you adjust on the fly like you can with K9 and does it work globally like K9 since it sounds like it isn't a service but an actively running program (per user). I'd also be curious if it is easily terminated via Task Manager? Sorry if I ask too many questions but I do not intend to install here and I need to find some time to get my Vm setup going again, thanks!
