It's been awhile since I've really been around on MT but I was curious on the input of other community members. If it is a computer's OS, software, or a website. What are your thoughts about current privacy practices of companies? I'm more interested on people's thoughts with Google. Also Microsoft, Facebook, and other sites would be of some interest as well. How far do you balance convenience and privacy? I became interested about the topic of privacy after looking at all the data that google had in my gmail account. It is kind of frightening how far back and how much there was. I turned off all the privacy things I could but I'm not even sure what to do. In this day in age it seems impossible to surf the internet without privacy being taken away.
