[QUOTE="Windows_Security, post: 807429, member: 50782"] For me an advantage of Edge Chromium over Google Chrome is the fact that Microsoft signed all the DLL's. So with Exploit Protection of Windows Defender you can easily add some additional protections, like: - Code Integrity Guard (Restricts loading of images signed by Microsoft, WHQL, or higher. Can optionally allow Microsoft Store signed images) - Disable extension points (Disables various extensibility mechanisms that allow DLL injection into all processes, such as AppInit DLLs, window hooks, and Winsock service providers) Also knowing Microsoft it will probably cheat by pre-loading the executables of MsEdge Chromium on startup, making it feel faster as Google Chrome (cold first load time). Maybe MsEdge Chromium will eventually inherit some old Edge features like deleting browsing data when browser closes and a general anti-tracking feature of Internet Explorer: block cookies when more than 10 sites use or refer these cookies, I always used to reduce number of sites from 10 to 3 with no problem).
