New Update Throttle for Firefox and Chrome

Hi everyone.

Today I want to share with you this new browser extension, which allows us to control who send to us an e-mail.

Here is the official description:

Control who can send you email. A cleaner inbox means a happier you. Throttle is a service that keeps your email address safe and your inbox clean. By seamlessly substituting random, unique email addresses for use online, it gives users control over who gets into their inboxes, for the first time ever.

The Throttle extension provides a button in sign up forms that allows you to generate unique email address to sign up with so you don't have to give out your real address.

This extension is avalaible for Firefox and Firefox-based browsers, Chrome and Chrome-based browsers.

It appears the free version is limited to around 50 emails. Which is a shame since I thought it could replace Blur.

Downloaded it to test, at first use there are a lot of hoops to jump through.
Will write more as I explore this add on.

Without the Confirmation email you can't post to report the issue on their support page, so it's a catch 22
Removed the addon, that was very short lived lol.

Yeah, I had that issue as well. Every time I click on subscribe during the test that page would open up, but no email was send.
Tried to click on subscribe multiple times while disabling my addons one by one to see if there was a conflict, and somehow it was allowed.

why use an extension for that...don't you have contact list and deny any non-contact emails?

Testing it for the sake of testing it, not for personal use. Someone has to be the guinea pig wheres your sense of adventure lol
