Why do you say 200GB is junk? That is still a lot of space.

Yea your right, but I'm a hardware freak. So 200gb is junk to me, I was looking at hdd's on newegg today. I'm thinking about buying a 750gb or a 1tb.

waiting for bulldozer is a good idea :) You might want to consider going with ATI/AMD cards (HIS have good OC cards by default) because of the prices. When you change to a new motherboard buy ddr3 ram (1600MHh) :)

if i as you. i'll buy external HD. don't need huge size on internal HD.
by the way, your desktop is for gaming?
if yes, more ram like 6 or 8GB (for smooth when playing or multitask)

if he uses in normal case less than 1GB than 4GB is more than enough, 6GB or 8GB is good but you need to think if it's needed.

I can imagine that 4GB is at least needed in case the page-file option is disable or put at min.
