Burning software: Imgburn

Browser: SRIron (chromium based), Comodo Dragon (again chromium based) and Waterfox (64 bit version equivalent to Firefox in a way)

Maintenance (sort of): unlocker 1.9.1

Edit: also you would need to state that the combos for protection depends if its high usage or low usage and how heavy it is, since you said its for new/old pc

Correction: AdFender is an Adblocker not only for IE, I confirm it works on Opera, Firefox (Currently using Opera with AdFender, lazy to update my config ) and others too, also their official site mentions that.
