Last month, on November 22, the UK-based video game publisher Feral Interactive brought us the Linux/SteamOS port of the astonishing and addictive Total War: WARHAMMER game developed by Creative Assembly and published by Sega. And now, they promise to port the Total War: WARHAMMER Realm of The Wood Elves DLC too.

"The enchanting yet formidable Wood Elves are ruthless in defense of their home, the ancient forest kingdom of Athel Loren. They are peerless archers who ride Great Eagles into battle, and can summon fearsome woodland allies to fight alongside them, including colossal guardian Treemen and Forest Dragons," reads the announcement.

New unique game features, monsters, magic, and heroes
Launched today, December 8, 2016, the Total War: WARHAMMER - Realm of The Wood Elves downloadable content (DLC) brings lots of goodies to fans of the popular game, including a new Wood Elves Race in the Grand Campaign, Amber as the brand-new additional race-specific currency, and comprehensive Wood Elves army roster.

The DLC also introduces support for Wood Elves to conquer any region on the map, an additional campaign map that contains the unique "Season of Revelations" Wood Elves story Campaign, two new playable legendary lords, namely Durthu and Orion, as well as lots of other unique game features, monsters, magic, and heroes.

Also new in the Total War: WARHAMMER - Realm of The Wood Elves DLC are two new Lord types and three new Hero types, which feature deep-specialisation skill trees. For more details, we recommend to check out the Steam page and Feral Interactive's minisite, from where you can also purchase the DLC, but only Windows is supported.
