For Honor is based on several classes of warriors from the medieval period including the Knights, Samurai, and Vikings.
Earlier this year Ubisoft launched its new gritty medieval multiplayer game that required you to use your skills with a sword or a spear to dominate your rivals. The game was generally well received by critics and sold pretty well in its opening weekend; but after the title launched, it quickly faltered due to egregious connection issues and micro transactions that could be regarded as a bit over the top.
After the game's player count on Steam fell to record lows within months of launch - although denied by Ubisoft - the publisher is now offering gamers a chance to try out the game on both consoles and PC. This weekend, starting August 10, you can try the free demo of the game by visiting the relevant store on your device and downloading it. The access period will run until August 13 on PC and extend all the way to August 15 on consoles. The demo will go live in the U.S. at 12 AM PDT on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
