Softpedia is the first to announce today, December 1st, that the first Alpha version of the upcoming Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) operating system is now available for download. As usual, we've grabbed a copy of it in order to keep you up-to-date with the latest changes in the Ubuntu 12.04 LTS development.

What's new in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Alpha 1? Well, the big news is that Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Alpha 1 includes the Linux kernel 3.2.0-2.5 packages, based on the Linux kernel 3.2 RC3 development release.

Also new in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Alpha 1 is that Rhythmbox is now the default music player, and Banshee was completely removed. However, there's no UbuntuOne Music Store yet, which will be ported to GTK3 soon.

Using a Linux distro is a delight for me because of the ease of use and the frequent updates. I'm not experiencing bugs so I'm fine.

Plus it is a lot more secure than Windows.

A Penguin is not as fragile as a Window, so it's a stronger bodyguard and has the ability to keep you secure. :P

I think future the most used OS is linux based. for example: Ubuntu, Linux Mint. both are most often used by people who want to use linux based, I think. Including me also :D
