Under Seige

Performance has improved substantially. I will continue to monitor and perform a couple quick navigation tests and replicate conditions that has previously been locking up my laptop. Will post an update later this afternoon.

Seemed to be improved initially but now still seeing some issues. With only one or two word documents open, I would receive a ms word not responding message when saving a document. The same thing would also happen occassionally based on more random actions such as hitting certain keys or cursor actions. Navigating in Windows Explorer seems to be improved but browing in the internet using Internew Explorer is slow and occassionally produces java script errors. The biggest change that I have seen is multiple instances of something called nnjnjnge.exe running. I don't recall seeing this previsously. The number of instances running will jump between 6 and 20.

More information regarding nnjnjnge.exe:
Description: Google Chrome
File Location: C:\Users\Dan\AppData\LocalLow\EmieUserList\Zkmbumqi\Yosmtwlbj

Also, I just recalled that my 13 year old son may have tried to download something last night. The nnjnjnge.exe files show a created time of 11:15 on 11/1/2014. The situation appears to be self-induced. Should I attempt to uninstall?

Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable.

Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop:

Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!

  • Right-click on
    FRST.gif
    icon and select
    RunAsAdmin.jpg
Run as Administrator to start the tool.
(XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
  • Press the Fix button just once and wait.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  • When finished FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

Please attach it to your reply.

I receive the following message when attempting to download FixList.exe: "Your current settings do not allow this file to be downloaded."

Did not have this issue with the initial FixList.exe file. Do you know if this is a marlwaretips.com profile setting or did something change on my pc?

I changed an IE setting and was able to download file. The file initially downloaded with fixlist-txt_28724/ as the file name. I removed the back slash in order to save and then renamed as fixlist.txt.

Will assume that is ok unless you tell me otherwise.
Will proceed with re-running FRST now.

Yesterday afternoon was good. Today, the CPU spikes to 100% without any applications open. There are multiple instances of nnjnjnge.exe
Properties shows it was created 7 hours ago at the following path. C:\Users\Dan\AppData\LocalLow\Adobe\Zkmbumqi\Yosmtwlbj
