Hello guys, only a little suggestion:

when we make a new thread about a version of a software, we (including me:D) can indicate to the side of the name and version, the note * updatable * so that other members know that can possibly add new posts on new versions of the software without creating other threads of the same program.

IMO so would be more orderly.

It should be simple enough to just keep one thread updated. [Update] [Update Only] [All updates] Any one of these in front of a thread title should suffice. If we can agree on a standard one or have a preloaded prefix available then we can make an announcement that all updates go to these threads only.

This serve as a friendly advice where merging of threads may not always happen to detect by moderators which better use the search feature instead. ;)

@Klipsh Do you mean like the screenshot below? But for a wider range of software / threads.

some people keep creating new threads...
If members can show a little bit responsibility in this regard, then it will be easy for the moderators.

I think it's important to note, new update posts should include the Homepage (developers site, not a news article post), Changelog and Download/Mirrors, as a minimum.

Yes, mainly with regard to the software.
Because when a new version comes out sometimes we create a new thread of the same program when instead we could just add a post in the same thread avoiding clutter and keeping more order.

The note "updatable" or similar, remember us to not create other useless threads.
