US-led NATO intervention begins in Syria war. Patriots in Turkey - topic here ..

US-led NATO intervention begins in Syria war. Patriots in Turkey : http://debka.com/article/22566/US-led-NATO-intervention-begins-in-Syria-war-Patriots-in-Turkey

'Tuesday, Nov. 27, the Middle East military spotlight swung around from Gaza to the Syrian war with steps for the start of US and NATO intervention in that conflict. Without spelling this out, a game changer began unfolding when a joint Turkish-NATO team began making a site survey for the deployment of Patriot Air and Missile Defense Systems, manned by American military teams. The team, said the statement from Ankara, will assess where to station the missiles and how many would be needed. It reiterated that the system is “for defensive purposes” and not for a “no-fly zone or offensive operations,” but just for use “against an air or missile threat from Syria.”
However, the Patriots in combination with already installed elements of the missile shield, will command an area beyond the Turkish-Syrian border - all of northern Syria up to and including the embattled towns of Aleppo and Homs ..'

Man..that war has been raging on for months now...I feel bad for those caught in the middle. The Global Police(US) is again assisting NATO..I wonder how will Obama be dealing with additional costs as the deficit is still to be the most important issue.

Those people in Syria should of been helped months ago, I think it's an absolute disgrace it's been left to go on for so long. To many innocent civilians have lost their lives and I think the internationale community should hang their heads in shame.

That's really a shame there...makes me think of what the UN was doing all along..maybe waiting for the Global Police to step forward to volunteer....or waiting and waiting and waiting still.

Absolutely, and you can blame the useless bum across the pond in D.C; I am not talking about homeless people in front of McDonald's either.

Besides that, all you have to do is bribe the U.N. It apparently works every time--largest crime syndicate in history
Look how long we have been ignoring genocide in Africa. I despise that with every ounce of my existence. Hypothetically speaking, if I was Commander and Chief, I would scorch every last bit of earth in certain regions on that continent, if need be, and then send in waves of guerrilla death squads until genocidal maniacs ALL reaped what they sowed. Of course there would be collateral damage, but not near as much damage as genocide causes. The dividends would be huge for the security of the people of Africa; the sensible, humble people, not the religious, ethic, racial and national, warlord zealots that murder and torture them.

I wonder why Obama is giving this the green light? There are no more polls or elections to win

Imho at this point in time unnecessary spending should be limited. Playing global police isn't gonna help the deficit. When the UN is pressured because they are doing nothing they look at the US for action. :(

Barry does not want a "fiscal cliff", he wants a "fiscal abysmal black hole".

Obama encouraged the Green Revolution in Iran but then abandoned those brave enough to stand up against the Mullahs and watched them be mowed down by the army. Kinda like what he did in Benghazi, just watch while his ambassador and three other state department employees were murdered.

Man. What a freakin' joke that was. If Barry the Blow Hard wanted to spew rhetoric, that was the time; when Iran was rising up as a people, not a tyrannical oligarchy threatening to start World War III to usher in the antichrist.
Barry was too busy kissing Mahmoud's feet.
