USB 3.0 VS Thunderbolt

Speed is one thing, but as long as thunderbolt cables cost $50 i will not even consider buying thunderbolt equipment.

i thought in the future we must using it.
at the moment i just using USB 2.0
probably when windows 8 comes out, all will using USB 3.0
:)

I read somewhere that Thunderbolt is malwarevulnerable, as hyperthreading, from a accurate source(I can't remember it right now).

I can imagine that thunderbolt, like firewire, has direct access to the memory. So it is posible to inject code directly into the memory without the OS ever knowing about it.
