Using Advanced SystemCare Ultimate 8 as an Antivirus?

Advanced System Care isn't an Antivirus, an Antimalware (IObit Malware Fighter) at best;

There are some valid points in the post you quoted. But it must be pointed out that Advanced SystemCare Ulimate, is a complete antivirus. As well as the regualar components of ASC, it also has an antivirus which uses Bitdefender's scan engine. There are screenshots of it at Softpedia.

While I am a registered user of ASC Pro (I didn't buy it - it is reguarly featured in giveaways), I have never used the Ultimate version so can't comment on the antivirus component, and say how it compares to other antiviruses which use Bitdefender's scan engine.

IO Bit come out with Spy Hunter 4. You should try that along with ASC. I am not a fan of other stuff, although I will use some utils like MB or others if something drastic is apparent as a one shot.
