Just add a backup plan to secure your data and OS by using for example Macrium Reflect free.

I would like to suggest a good, free and reliable solution. You could use either Macrium Reflect or or Aomei Backupper both are free and reliable.

If you do not have a portable HDD you could give this a try AOMEI OneKey Recovery - easily backup Windows system with A few clicks only

You can add a second traditional HDD as data, backup disk if it is a desktop PC otherwise an external drive.

I bet you can get your system to run faster and more responsive if you take off some of those real-time scanners.
It sounds like you have Avast, ZAL, and MBAM all running in real-time. That sounds heavy to me. Try cutting it down and see if you feel a difference.

I am a fan of ZAL so i would keep it, but if you have a decent system keep both.

A great idea right there, backups are an invaluable tool to have to protect against infections, crashes ETC.

keep ZAL. It's good. MBAM is weaker than ZAL. Use it for on-demand scanning, if you want.

Your system is for gaming then I guess you don't have performance problems and you may leave so or use just ZAL also on realtime.
I use Windows Defender +ZAL realtime on a normal laptop without any problems.

If you feel like improving security, remove MBAE and use HitmanPro.Alert instead. It is much stronger protection, and it also has a good anti-ransomware module. (But sometimes it has compatibility issues, you need a little luck)
