BUG FIXES

The following issues are fixed with this release.

· (VH-3098) "Watch progress" button on notification for definitions update does not work
· (VH-8706) Photoshop may crash during startup with on-access scan

I bought a lifetime license (5yr) for this and the VIPRE Identity Shield from HSN for $45. Heck of a deal until you take into account that I don't feel protected when using it. Maybe I'll try them combined with SBIE now that the v5.27.3 Beta is out and I can finally use it on my W10.

The problem with VIPRE lifetime is the license key tied to the PC motherboard. You can't deactivate the license key to use it on another computer.

Yes, you're right. The license I bought was for 3 "PCs", time will tell how fast I burn through them.

What is your opinion of the identity shield? Is it worth buying it? Thanks

I didn't have it (or Advanced Security) installed very long, but if you care about securing your webcam and mic it's worth it. I feel like it should be a part of VIPRE Advanced Security but they were obviously after more money.

This is news to me. Tough to recommend one of those "lifetime" licenses now.
