VIPRE Internet Security 2015 Lifetime Service Policy

1. ThreatTrack Security agrees to provide updates and definitions for VIPRE at no charge as long as you own your computer (purchased new or in used condition) upon which you originally installed VIPRE.

2. Lifetime Service is not transferrable if your computer is sold or transferred to another user, or if components are rebuilt into a new or used mobile device not owned by you. To retain your computer Lifetime Service, you must uninstall VIPRE prior to selling or transferring your computer to another user.

3. If for any reason you rebuild, restore or replace the original computer upon which VIPRE was installed, ThreatTrack Security agrees to provide you with a one-time reinstall of VIPRE to continue your Lifetime Service.

Just be caution on this clause for the Lifetime License.

lifetime license is quite problematic. I heard that when you reinstall your OS or do major upgrade/update, license sometime can't be recovered thus ending it's service.

I ran Viper for years, when Sunbelt was in charge. Even beta tested extensively. GFI "took over", and it seems to be sinking swiftly. Loved the program years ago. I personally own a lifetime license, but highly doubtful I'll ever use it. There are many better options out there. Sad what transpired with a good piece of software.:(

So no, in my opinion, it's not a good deal.

My thoughts exactly.
And Kerio Firewall was the best one on the market (back then).
