Virusbuster made an improvements since its literally same like Outpost Products, their so called HIPS definitely accurate for flagging files suspicious/malware.

Have to agree here James, seems to be on the right track these days
New version of Outpost is apparently doing the beta rounds so will monitor any improvements.

DO you know there is an agreement between virusbuster and outpost. Virusbuster gives outpost its antimalware engine and in return it gets the firewall and hips components of Outpost. Strangely so their interface also looks same except that outpost has a blue theme while virusbuster has a red one.

The only other companies licensing outposts firewall and hips technology are
1. Quickheal ie CAT computers India
2. Avg internetsecurity.

DO you know there is an agreement between virusbuster and outpost

AFAIK Virusbuster use Agnitum's firewall & HIPS component  and Agnitum use Virusbuster's antivirus engine and signatures.
This has been going on for many years now i believe.

Yes many years indeed. Strangely microsoft Forefront also licenses VirusBuster engines.

Nope, their technology also uses Bullguard, Defenx, Lavasoft and Sophos. That firewall is simply great, but I would change antivirus engine.
