I recall this was discussed several days ago, but I forget as I got "lost" in creating VMw account as I already have / should have one... I have 17.6.3 build-24583834 is this current? or I very vaguely recall 17.6.3.1 but could not confirm that with VMw. Since VMw update is no longer working how does user know if there's an update? (other than someone posting here ) Can you check version status without having to login VMw?

EDIT update so I went to broadcom and when I try to use my account (email originally used for paid Workstation) it says locked -- email, but they do not send a message to that email) so then try to create a new account with different email and it says there is already a user with that email address. Probably me although my notes are perhaps unclear...??
Basically it is one be big snafu circular loop and I get nowhere. Clueless here with 17.6.3
