Thank you @Leo from TPSC for demonstrating the negative effect of having the "Wine" emulator on Linux, but also referring to recent attacks (by for example Mirai Botnet) showing that Linux isn't as secure as people think.

Good remark. Wouldn't be enough yet to start wine under root (sudo).

I think this video is unfair because the most popular Linux distro does not include Wine by default. (Mint!!!)

So the User has to purposefully install software that makes them vulnerable to Windows based Ransomware

Otherwise Linux literally does nothing if you try to run a .exe file.

Linux is freedom, you can do anything you want, even if it leads to sad consequences. And Yes, I agree with you completely.
The truth is Linux distributions where the Wine is already installed by default.
(Zorin OS with Wine, Deepin OS with Crossover).
