Warning: Do NOT configure Win11 24H2 Screensaver

Here's what I experienced. I setup the screensaver to bubbles and set the timer to 30mins.

Then the bubble screensaver turned on locks you out EVERY 1 MIN.

You can NOT reset it or disable it - it doesn't take effect.

The solution for this is to make another local account.

Sorry to hear about your issue. This seems to be a bug. For now, try updating your Windows 11 to the latest version or contact Microsoft support.

Any particular reason why you want screensaver enabled? LCD/LED screens are not susceptible to burn-in so if you have one, there isn't really a need for screensaver (one of the reasons why they are now disabled by default). OLED screens are still susceptible to burn-in, but with modern technology (such as pixel shifting), it's less likely for you to get it. Using dark theme, and reduced brightness of OLED screens can massively help you in preventing burn-in, and I also recommend shortening screen timeout to as lower value as you can. On Windows, you can set the time to turn off the display after 2 minutes of inactivity.
