I had a friend today whose called to say they could not access the Internet. It turns out, it was only www.google.com that was not working. It would redirect them to a page that said "Update Your Flash Player". Most other pages worked. So if you went to www.bing.com it was fine, or if you went to news.google.com, it was fine. I ran ADWCleaner, no real issues. MBAR found nothing, nor did MBAM. There were other computers on this network that also could not access the Internet. The homepage was set to some MSN address. SHe said this change happened suddenly, just today. I changed this back to www.google.com, and suddenly all of the computers started working again. Is it possible this was some sort of router issue, or Comcast (the ISP) got their DNS hacked temporarily?
