Battle WFC x EVORIM x Simplewall x Spyshelter

I'm currently testing a few windows firewall controllers and i would like you opinion about

Consider:
1) Effective and Secure: it does what is meant to do.
2) Private: The author/organization is reliable and privacy police can be trusted
3) Simple: The interface is good and easy to handle
4) Free


I've already tested the first 3 options. I really liked WFC and Spysheltter. Currently I'm running WFC with Bitdefender Free. IMHO simplewall lacks an user guide, for the more advanced features.
I recently checked about Evorim, but i don't see a lot of people testing it. What do you think?

I used four kinds of software alternately, but wfc was the easiest to use for me. It is software that controls the wall rather than the wall itself.

WFC is the best. Easy to setup and manage exceptions.

WFC or simplewall is my pick. Spyshelter only if you want HIPS.

I didn't have such issues the last time I used it. It was very stable in all ways.

I didn't feel any slowdown. It may be a version difference. I used wfc only recently.

Software that uses the built-in fw has excellent stability. I think it's an advantage that deserves to be recommended.
