Does anybody have accurate info on what it CAN do and can NOT do vs a traditional real-time antivirus?

Can you name the source for this piece of info? I'm not disagreeing but I looked over at HitmanPro's site and I never found anything regarding this. Sounds very interesting however, for sure.

I mean the virus removal tool obviously has no real-time protection and therefor no behavioural analysis or any other proactive protection, but the signatures should be the same. Definitely a better option than HitmanPro

Heuristics are normally also available in second opinion scanners. Kaspersky Security Network is also available in the Virus Removal Tool.

You don't need K. Virus Removal Tool since you already has KTS installed... KVRT it's a stand-alone tool to scan systems without K. product with resident protections.
