Hello,
I'm wondering what is the best notebook app for iPhone & iPad ?
Free or paid.

My 2 main Notes apps are Google Keep and Apple Notes. I also use Microsoft OneNote, but not very often. I will try GoodNotes 5 for written notes.
I like those apps because I'm a Data/File Management person. But some people love Mind Mapping and prefer apps like MindNode.

The best notebook app for iPhone & iPad is Evernote . It is a free app. It is great for taking notes on the fly, or for archiving information you might find online. It is available on the iPhone and iPad, so you can use it for any quick notes or for larger projects. If you have the iPad, you can also use the Apple Pencil, which makes it far easier to digitally draw diagrams. I personally use Evernote every day, both professionally and personally. It's a great way to organize your thoughts and research.

In the last year, I watched over 30 videos about personal productivity. You must be able to sync and share: so using the cloud is a must.

1. Capture your ideas: Google Keep, Roam Research. Logseq, Walling, Readwise, Inoreader. Apple Notes...
2. Organize your ideas: Roam,, Evernote, Notion, Clickup, Obsidian,Trello,OneNote...
3 . Action: Todoist, Things, Amplenote, Google Tasks., Apple Reminders..
4. Schedule: Outlook, Google Calendar, Apple calendar, Fantastical...

What I use: Keep,Inoreader, Apple Notes, OneNote,Google tasks, Apple reminders, Google Calendar, Apple calendar.

Two good sites ...to make up your mind...

What is "best" is largely a function of personal needs and preferences...

That said, an excellent (cross platform) application for notes, which is terrific on iPad (don't know about iPhone), is Upnote.

And two excellent planning apps: Ticktick and Leadertask (also both cross platform).

Good luck!
