Microsoft users asked for a PC version, so WhatsApp released a Web version instead. However, the Web version only worked on Google Chrome at the moment. Overtime, more support browsers were introduced, such as Firefox and Opera.
Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge browser users may not have to wait much longer for the Web version. It’s been rumored that WhatsApp is working with Microsoft Edge, which was recently launched with Windows 10.
