Battle Which Linux based desktop you prefer and why?

As we all know, there are many Linux Distros available.

Many of those come with different Desktop flavours.

From a beginner to an intermediate user point of view, which Desktops you prefer and why?

PS: I completely forgot about 2 more desktops:

Openbox and LXDE (Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment).

Only linux I have used is Oracle Linux. Best feature would be the update/patch/hotfix doesn't require any reboot which is great for a server.

I think Lubuntu is running KDE? I have no idea.

Kubuntu is KDE. Lubuntu is LXDE.

Actually Xidus you say it involves a lot of sudoing. Its because most guides on the net give you commands instead of graphically UI options so that it decreases their typing efforts. Usually there is a way without doing sudo sudo.

Sudo is actually quite a bit more convenient than having to logout of your user account and into your admin account.
