stop-trying-to-make-google-plus-happen.jpg

WE HAVE ALL BEEN AFFECTED BY GOOGLE PUSHING GOOGLE+.
Whichever Google product you use these days, you have been affected by the tech behemoth’s drive to make Google+ happen.Larry Page and his big bang theory rejects at the Googleplex must be aware of the negative press this push has caused, even so they continue marching down that lonely road.

Why? The simple answer is FEAR!

With Google going from strength to strength – record profits, record share price – you would wonder what they have to fear. To answer that we have to go back a little, to a time when Google was a happier place to be. Engineers spent 20% of their time working on projects of their own choosing. Products like iGoogle existed just because users liked them, not because they made Google money. Gmail didn’t try to sell you things and force you into a social network.

Google has effectively killed off 20% time. iGoogle and many other unprofitable products (that made us love Google in the first place) have been buried in the last three years and almost every surviving product has a cost or advert.

google also kept reminding me to add my phone number and associate with the email address.

now they can track who is exactly doing what.

Online privacy is dead. now they can pin point and say this person doing this online.

What we do online is gold mine.
imagine if you have access to data about most people on earth . you who is doing what. what they are writing. what they are seeing online. what they are searching.

these infos are like treasure. With data mining you can extract useful data out of it and sell it to other companies.
