Win 10 laptop cpu running at 99%

My friends laptop has 6 gigs of ram and I have disabled most startup programs
but it is still running at 97 to 99% for the cpu usage in task manager.

I tried uninstalling avast but that didnt fix it

if there anyway to get the cpu usage down. It is running really slow

please post a screenshot of process explorer or task manager (details tab) so we can help
there are millions of reasons for it

Check what uses the cpu with what @Evjl's Rain suggested. The fact it runs high means nothing.

Well most of the time, Windows 10 high cpu usage goes to process SYSTEM. In order to solve is through updating cumulatove updates since it fixed some possible culprit.

Or follow the suggestions provided on Youtube to fix possible Cpu usage.

ok I was reading online things to try to bring the cpu usage down and something I tried
worked it is better.
So I don't need to post a pic of processes ...I had be struggling with this issue for a week I am so happy to have it working better again, my friend will be happy

Thanks to everyone for their time and suggestions...I am always happy to learn new things to try to fix something
