I currently use WinPatrol premium and brought a license key for their ransomware protection software, upon install it blocked everything, does anyone know how to use it, or am I missing something?

Tony- I've been following closely the development of the product (it's up to Beta 5 currently) and with each new beta improvements have been made. But what you are experiencing is probably one of the mechanisms by which it operates- as ransomware will often spawn a payload into to the App Data directory, obviously by blocking everything trying to run from there will stop the malware; sadly it will also block some legit applications from installing and running.
Great usability strides have been made so far (beta 1 was horrible!), so perhaps these issues can be fixed (or perhaps not). I am eagerly anticipating the final release so that it can be tested, but right now any opinion would be premature.
