Advice Request WiseVector AI - A Good Complement to your Anti-Virus?

I have been using OSA for a long time to complement my AV based on its many praises here on MT. Recently, the developer announced moving to a Shareware model. That said, I came across favorable postings on MT about WiseVectorAI. So I decided to remove OSA, and replace it with WiseVector, as that is free.

Would it safe to say that WiseVector would be a good complement to any AV, and would be a good choice to replace OSA if one chooses?

I read the article and it confirms my choice but there is also mention of movement to a shareware model, so this product may take the same path as OSArmor, afterall. Although very good, the same pros and cons of whether to invest in this product or a security suite comes into question again.
