No, it will be fixed in the future. At the moment only the heurdb is verified.Have you fixed the false detection of system files yet?
in-house engine.I'll go ahead and try it out right now, but what are your methods of detection? Do you use VirusTotal? Do you have a in-house engine?
then where do i get them then?Don't use virussign samples please. They're very old.
From the malware hub for example.then where do i get them then?

Nope, nothing can be older than virussign samples.alot of that stuff is older
What if malware is dropped here? BTW, it won't clean system files automatically. Don't worry. Is it possible to exclude folder(s) that contain system files inside?

It doesn't happen to everyone... It just happens when the DB is somehow corrupt during download and Xvirus starts detecting everything.Ah...
I'm smart enough to detect false positives, but some people might actually believe that everything detected is unsafe.

I'm not sure. But it's not selected by default. What if they had the setting 'Quarantine threats automatically' enabled under Scanner Settings?
Anyway, I haven't experienced the FP issue with system files for awhile now, which is great.
Not exactly, but I was working at Xvirus code recently. So you're one of the developers, correct?
I do seem to like it so far.
It only quarantine automatically if it is detected by the signatures. So that will not be a problem because the bug of deteting everything is caused by the heuristicsWhat if they had the setting 'Quarantine threats automatically' enabled under Scanner Settings? Then if it detected a FP it would auto-quarantine. Although, I do not know if anyone actually uses that setting, I only enabled it just now for a test.
