It just does, but they don't recommend it. They advise enabling ODD and let SAC run in evaluation mode.

Can I turn Smart App Control on manually?
Yes, if it's available for your device, but we recommend you let evaluation mode do its job and determine if you're a good candidate for Smart App Control

Log in security disabled while using Edge built in password manager... isn't that kinda alarming that anyone who pass by your computer can access all of your saved accounts?

No one have access to my desktop pc so password login is useless. AM I wrong?
If pc is infected/compromised how 3rd party password manager would help? At the moment you unlock it to login in site A, B or C, all saved passwords are compromised...and cookie stealers? BTW my important passwords are not saved in password manager. I remember them.
15 + years - zero infections. Maybe I'm too confident
