Thank you for your test, @cruelsister .

I am using Norton Internet Security (NIS) on my laptop. It seems that now I have to change my settings of NIS:D, because I kept the level of Boot Protection as default.

By the way, in each test, you changed two "variables": the malware sample, and the settings of Boot Protection. I think it would be a good practice to change only one variable in each test.:)

Yet Bitdefender free is the winner in this series...Kudos to Bd free.

Would like to see Sophos Home test.

And definitely Comodo Cloud AV that is suppose to release tomorrow. Quite good options there...AutoSandbox, Alert to Sandbox & Run only Safe programs Plus Valkyrie & ViruScope.

Hi Michael! I have a couple of other products kinda-sorta finished to publish first (and I'm restricting myself to 1 video a week, max), but I will be doing a Dr Web for you in the finale (and I hope that I'll remember the Paranoid Mode- but so far all of the fancier settings used on already tested products didn't help; maybe this time it will be different).

As for a AV with SBIE- that question should probably directed to Umbra, as I could only guess.

Looking forward this video to help make a decision on what I will be using the near for future.
Maybe, I will be changing to Bitdefender and/or Comodo Firewall.... I will until you finish you
Boot Protection Tests!!! And maybe add Sandboxie back into the mix.

Totally appreciate the up coming Boot Protection Tests...

Kind regards,;)

Additionally, which Av's work with Sandboxie? For example, Dr. Web Security
Space does not work with Sandboxie!!!
Emsisoft EAM works, probably EIS works too but i didn't test that.

Hi Michael- Dr Web will be next up (probably next weekend, depending on my schedule). I've already set up a system and will be using Paranoid mode with everything maxxed out. As Dr Web has similar starup alerts to that of Qihoo I am curious how it will turn out.
