There are many reasons why one might want to hide or protect certain files and folders, either from prying eyes or for
security reasons. Encryption technology is one solution but encryption techniques can often prove a bit tricky for less experienced users. Thankfully, there are lots of free tools available that allow you to hide or protect files and folders which don’t necessarily require advanced knowledge. Even so, there are very few that offer a
portable version, hence my interest in Secure Folders.
