Oernbr.com is a copycat site that mimics the look and feel of QVC’s website, but sells counterfeit or non-existent products at ridiculously low prices.
How does the Oernbr.com Scam work?
The Oernbr.com scam operates by creating fake ads on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, targeting users who are interested in QVC products or online shopping in general. The ads show images of popular items such as laptops, cameras, air fryers, and jewelry, with prices that are too good to be true. For example, a MacBook Pro that normally costs $1,299 is offered for only $99. The ads also include fake reviews and testimonials from satisfied customers who claim to have received their orders in a timely manner.
When a user clicks on the ad, they are redirected to Oernbr.com, where they can browse through hundreds of products that are supposedly on clearance sale. The website looks legitimate, with a QVC logo, a secure payment system, and a customer service number. However, everything on the site is fake. Now that you have enabled rootkit scanning, click on the “Dashboard” button in the left pane to get back to the main screen.

To start a scan, click the Scan button. Malwarebytes will automatically update its antivirus database and begin scanning your computer for malicious programs.
Wait for the Malwarebytes scan to complete.
