It’s a should not install list. I haven’t seen anyone using Real Player to be honest, it was awful even when it was relevant. The Windows built-in video player* or VLC are much better. PowerDVD is not bad either.

*requires a bunch of codecs, maybe K-Lite.

I didn't even know Real Player still exists... next someone will tell you not to install Mosaic...

People who know don't let people use anything else besides VLC unless specific requirements exist.

I still use MPC-HC (mentioned at 4:43) in my windows VM's.
In the VM's it renders the video's better than VLC.
The project is forked on GitHub and was updated 5 days ago.
