malwarebytes and symnatec png.pngmax.png

results
malwarebytes + safeweb total score = 96.8% ( 8 links verified to be pishing )
(242 / 250) * 100 = 0.968 * 100 = 96.8%
16 links didn't get blocked but only 8 were phishing pages , fake stores

max config mix of (Symantec , Bitdefender, checkpoint , Microsoft ) have blocked everything 100% category based detection so zero phishing (a checkpoint tech ) didn't have any links left to scan and wasn't used

changes made malwarebytes had gTLD domains enabled , Symantec , checkpoint had added categories

test was made to showcase effectiveness of extensions mentioned in this topic Hot Take - extensions can help a lot against phishing

Thanks for sharing your detailed test results. It's interesting to see that Malwarebytes and SafeWeb scored 96.8% in phishing detection, while Symantec, Bitdefender, Checkpoint, and Microsoft blocked all phishing attempts. This just goes to show the importance of using reliable security extensions to protect against phishing.

Thanks for testing. Would love to see SafeToOpen included in the future. 🙃
just did a test with 20 links
one was dead and one was missed (fake shop )

from all the extensions above only trafficlight blocked that same link and symantec using added category (non defualt) suspicious

malwarybytes , checkpoint , norton ,safeweb, Microsoft , builtin google safe browsing all missed that link

checkpoint.pngbitdefnder .pngsymantec.pngmalwarebytes and safeweb.pngsafe to open.png
