In November we conducted the last in 2024 6th edition of the test, completing the long-term series of the “Advanced In-The-Wild Malware Test” series. It is based on the fact that we use the same principles of navigating the Internet as during the daily use of e-mail clients, browsers, and communicators to realistically reproduce the delivery of messages, clicking on links, downloading and running files, and installing applications.

Tested solutions
  1. Avast Free Antivirus
  2. Bitdefender Total Security
  3. Comodo Internet Security 2025
  4. Emsisoft Enterprise Security
  5. Eset Smart Security Premium
  6. F-Secure Total
  7. Microsoft Defender
  8. Malwarebytes Premium
  9. ThreatDown Endpoint Protection
  10. Quick Heal Total Protection
  11. Panda Dome Advanced
  12. Webroot Antivirus
  13. Xcitium ZeroThreat Advanced

Non-Professional, common man's response to test....

So bottom line all antivirus did great, all got the same score, all got 100% , including Panda; EXCEPT Webroot, and Xcitium. Avoid those 2.

Everything else is good to go, even Panda.
And according to the links, avoid Bitdefender and ESET, as oh my gosh, they missed one. Time to dump what I'm using and try something else until the next test results roll in, and then switch again and again, wash, rinse, repeat 😂😂

I always liked Panda anyway, and the licenses are very inexpensive.... The VPN is also very cheap...

Now that the AV's have been shown to be the same, use anything you want except webroot and xcitium

Comodo/Xcitium doing well of course :Dbut Panda and Webroot ?Could they be entering some kinda hyper aggressive "test editions" of their respective products?

Regards Eck:)
Oups i forget about Comodo/Xcitium
How i can forget about?
Maybe the fail of Bitdefender and Eset have been too much emotion
Tell me this is an Hell dream
Comodo/Xcitium, Panda and Webroot ,three av so loved by Internet that every discussion about them is interesting because you can't predict what is going to happen in it

It's a good thing that no software was banned of AVLab test
