ADWcleaner crashes during cleaning

For some time now, I've noticed my computer behaving odd. It is slow as molasses, random programs just appear (I've assumed my kids have been picking them up from gaming sites), and it would completely shut down randomly. I have Malware Bytes Pro which finds the same 7 issues every scan, but freezes after the scan is complete; I also have AVG. I got tired of seeing Vosteran Search as my homepage, so I went online to see how to remove it and it was suggested that I use AdwCleaner. I downloaded it and it finds a 216 threats (not good, I know). But when I click clean, my entire computer freezes. Thinking it was similar to Malware Bytes freezing, I left it on overnight to work itself out, but it simply didn't do anything. My computer was completely frozen. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello,

Please download Zemana AntiMalware and save it to your Desktop.
  • Install the program and once the installation is complete it will start automatically.
  • Without changing any options, press Scan to begin.
  • After the short scan is finished, if threats are detected press Next to remove them.
Note: If restart is required to finish the cleaning process, you should click Reboot. If reboot isn't required, please restart your computer manually.
  • Open Zemana AntiMalware again.
  • Click on

icon and double click the latest report.
  • Now click File > Save As and choose your Desktop before pressing Save.
  • The only left thing is to attach saved report in your next message.
