Anonymous Threatens to 'Erase NYSE from the Internet'

Anonymous declared "war" on the New York Stock Exchange this weekend and vowed to "erase" the NYSE from the Internet on Oct. 10 as the Occupy Wall Street protest entered its third week in New York City after a weekend that saw hundreds of protesters arrested during a planned march across the Brooklyn Bridge.
"On Oct. 10, NYSE shall be erased from the Internet. On Oct. 10, expect a day that will never, ever be forgotten," intoned a computer-generated male voice common to many Anonymous videos, in a warning posted on TheAnonMessage YouTube channel (video below).

Anonymous will bring down the NYSE when hell will freeze.They have 0 chances.
What will happen next?? Anonymous will tweet that this is just a mistake and the media got it all wrong.... Just like in the Anonymous Vows To Destroy Facebook On November 5 case.

Yes, most likely is just a simple publicity stunt.....you know, be loved by the people and have everyone talk about them......I for one I'm sick of reading about them , their actions have no real value and they are acting like 16-year old girls.

NYSE Hacking Not From the Real Anonymous

The people that follow the events from Wall Street in the past days were shocked after the infamous hacktivits group Anonymous released a statement saying that the New York Stock Exchange hacking announcement was actually made by law enforcement officials in the attempt to undermine the movement.

Yesterday the world prepared to see cybercriminals in action after the group announced with the help of a video that the world would once again feel their rage on October 10, when they'll wipe the NYSE from the internet.

“We will show the world that we are true to our word. On Oct. 10, NYSE shall be erased from the Internet. On Oct. 10, expect a day that will never, ever be forgotten,” said a threatening voice in the latest alleged Anonymous video.

As it turns out, the video, where they urged their fans to join the hacking operation by using the tool called LOIC to take down the target website, was not posted by the original group.

Their Pastebin account revealed a new message that claims the whole thing "is a fake planted operation by law enforcement and cyber crime agencies."

lol.Just like in the 'Facebook will go down' case. The media should really stop relating anything about this guys...they are a true joke. Even if they DDoS a know site , there are no long(or medium) term effects so ignoring them is the way to go.
Apart from DDoS-ing some site they can't do anything, they don't have the logistic or the know-how .....
