Sorry for the question ... but AppGuard exists in the trial version? On their website, I can't find information about it.
AppGuard 4 has still a 30-day trial version. But it's EOL already, so not recommended, unless you want a trial of AppGuard.

AppGuard 5 has no trial version.

If you want to test AppGuard, use AppGuard 4. Afterwards, if you want AppGuard, buy AppGuard 5.

AG 4 and AG 5 is almost identical in protection model for now.

Interesting. In the past week I've received two updates for VMware Workstation. Turns out they were from a bug bounty contest that found ways there could be memory leaks from the VM to the host. NOT GOOD.

But I've not worried about that a bit. Thanks to a tip from Barb_C I made all the VMware applications guarded apps. This blocked the memory reads and writes, which gave additional protection to my VM stuff.

Way to go Appguard.

Isn't that suppose to be an unlikely situation?
@Umbra I'd rather not buy anything much less security softs.
