Please be aware that this has been released back in 2010 and AFAIK there has been no active development since. It is based on Emsisoft Anti-Malware 4.5 [or 5.0, I don't remember exactly] and may be exhibiting the performance impact associated with the old Emsisoft product version.

can I recommend for those that do register that you use a disposable email address or you

Yah I know but is it still supported ? I mean databases are regularly updated ?
 
Thank you for sharing this program and the licenses.

I'm currently evaluating alternatives to AVG that offer top end performance and detailed, user-controlled exceptions lists in order to evaluate other software packages.
