Ashampoo gives away older versions of their products every year.
The newer versions of their products really don't offer much more than a new GUI or new skins, it is actually rare that they add any newer features to their products. I have seen some of their free giveaway products have removed features like WinOptimizer.

Important: On the Ashampoo Service Channel, uncheck "Ashampoo News" & "Updates". Don't run updates or upgrade to newer versions or you will have to buy the product to continue use. Their free giveaway products never expire unless you make the mistake and click on the upgrade.

Some of their free products, it doesn't give the option to opt-out of updates and news, so you must always cancel the updates when the prompts are displayed while closing the products.

Most of Ashampoo products are really good.

before saying there is Malware in Ashampoo's software please show proof of this the worst i'v got is spam
after giving a e-mail addy so it would be a good idea to use a disposable e-mail addy to register with them

i'v used Ashampoo Burning Studio before and found it works very good and did not find no viruses in it

so please previde evidence so everyone can see?

Most Ashampoo products come with the optional Ashampoo Toolbar, it is very easy to opt-out while installing. Sometimes the installers will recommend installing some of their other products which you can also easily opt-out. Other than the simple toolbar and recommendations to install their other products, their installers are clean of malware.

The adware offered is not as bad as many other popular freeware products.

nope guys both u are wrong. I entered in everything got the software win op then put email in for key got all software plus crap fake WinMix page put the key in for win op said it was registered but at the corner it said it wasn't so key was bogies.

I would love to see a screenshot of what you claim, I never had any problems with Ashampoo keys.
Could you give us the direct url to this fake WinMix page? are you sure it wasn't just ad offsite ad?
